Craps Table

Though Craps is fast-paced game, the basic are really quite simple.

Pass Line

By placing chips on the Pass Line, the player will be betting even money with shooter. On the first roll, the player will win if a seven or eleven is rolled and will lose if Craps (2, 3 or 12) is rolled. Any other total that may show on the dice (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10) will become the “point.” To win after a point is established, that number must be thrown again before seven. If a seven is thrown before the point, the Pass Line Bet will lose.

Don’t Pass

By placing chips on the Don’t Pass Line, the player will be betting even money against the shooter. On the first roll, the player will win if two or three is rolled, the player will win if  two or three is rolled, will lose if a seven or eleven comes up, and three will standoff if twelve is thrown. If a point is established and then made, the Don’t Pass Bet will lose. If a seven is rolled before the point, the Don’t Pass Bet will win.

Come Bet

A Come Bet is the same as a Pass Line Bet, but is placed on the Come Line after a point has been established.

Don’t Come Bet

A Don’t Come Bet is the same as a Don’t Pass Bet, but is placed on the Don’t Come area after a point has been established.

Place Bets

At any time player may bet on one or more of the numbers in the boxes. The dealer will place such a bet on the number chosen. This bet will win  if the number chosen is thrown before a seven is rolled and will be paid at odds of 9 to 5 for numbers four or ten, 7 to 5 for the numbers five or nine and 7 to 6 for the numbers six or eight. The Place Bet will lose if seven is thrown.

Hardway Bets (4,6,8,10)

Hardway Bets will win if the number is rolled in “doubles” (2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5) before a seven, or the number in another combination is thrown.

Big Six

Wins if six rolls before seven and loses if seven rolls before six.

Big Eight

Wins if eight rolls before seven and loses if seven rolls before eight.
